Guidelines for HEC Recognized HEIs to join the DRI Innovation Network

Universal Eligibility

Membership is open to ALL HEC Recognized Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Pakistan. Whether your institution has an established ORIC or is currently a Non-ORIC institution looking to build one, you are eligible to join our ecosystem.

Membership Categories

While the criteria for joining remains the same (HEC Recognition), the benefits, privileges, and annual subscription charges differ based on the following categories:

Established ORIC

For HEIs with functional ORIC offices.

  • Advanced Industry Synergy programs.
  • Premium Shehnaz Index data analytics.
  • Full OVC Voting Rights.

Aspiring ORIC (Non-ORIC)

For HEIs in the process of setting up ORIC.

  • Step-by-step Establishment Support.
  • Foundational Compliance Training.
  • OVC Observer Status.

Data Verification & Integrity

At DRI, we take data seriously. It is our responsibility to maintain the global standards of our database, and in return, we require:

  • All research and commercialization data must be verified by the Registrar or Director ORIC.
  • Provision of authentic evidence for all claims made during the annual evaluation.

Note: DRI reserves the right to audit submitted information to ensure the sanctity of the National ORIC Directory.
